Art After Dark Spring 2007 Fiesta |

 The night was perfect for an enthusiastic audience. The ninth annual Art After Dark took place on September 8, 2007 in downtown Houma. The art-walk in downtown Houma featured Vivian's Vision at the Terrebonne Waterlife Museum & Memorial Park. A wide variety of visual art, live music poetry readings and performance art was available for the community.

Summer Fun at Glassworks!!! |

 The New Orleans GlassWorks and Printmaking Studio offer its summer young adult workshop from June through August for students ages 10 -16. Young adults are introduced to and have extensive hands on instruction in lampworking, glassblowing, architectural stained and fused glass, welded metal sculpture, complemented by printmaking, paper engineering with books arts, copper enameling & glass mosaics.

 Art Sense is a visual camp held yearly at the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum for children ages 8 & above. The camp opened with basics of painting on May 28 and closed with lampworking /jewelry making on July 20. During the weekly sessions, students were taught the basics of lampworking, jewelry making, painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and papermaking. |
