Welcome to Vivian's Vision E-mail

It is my great pleasure to launch the brand new Vivian’s Vision website. Thank you to everyone for their support and patience as we underwent numerous renovations over the past several weeks. Please look around as you shall find many interesting pages such as information on the wonderful art of Lampworking, latest news regarding Vivian’s Vision and most importantly, the launch of our eBay Vivian's Vision store so that you can directly purchase my one of a kind creations.

Another new feature is the gallery. It displays my latest collections and also my love for photography. Please escape and travel with me as I view the world through the lens of my camera. It is through the latter that I gain an expansive canvas which serves as the inspiration for the creation of a new bead or jewelry design.

Our lives are in a constant state of flux; however, there are glimpses of time in which we are all interconnected, one. My handcrafted jewelry designs reflect these basic tenets of life.

Before Vivian’s Vision

As a child I would spend hours in the grass plucking clover flowers in order to link them so I could adorn myself with a pretty necklace. I paid dearly for such jauntings, to the delight of the local bumblebees… but nothing could keep me away from my beloved flowers.

I suppose my fascination turned to beads, rocks and gemstones, when my family and I began taking roadtrips. As we traveled across this vast country, we “had” to stop at every gem store or watering hole so that I could find the best gemstone beads and “tumbled rocks”. When we returned home, I created wonderful organic treasures!

The Beginning of Vivian’s Vision

Some form of art medium has always fueled my creative desires, but I have never been able to find my one and only niche which “felt like home.”

It wasn’t until 2004, when I moved to the island of Saba in the Netherland Antilles, that I found the art of Lampworking. I found home. As my skill improved, something about the flame and the melting of glass enticed and held me captive. Vivian’s Vision was born.

I hope that I can share my passion for glass with you!  Enjoy!
